The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, and as a Sub-Contractor, with specifications for experience in the bidder's own country and other countries. Regarding similar works completed, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work, in the last five financial years. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The bidder should also have invested a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during the implementation of the work, and have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of an amount not less than that indicated in the BDS, usually the equivalent of the estimated cash flow for 3 months in the peak construction period.
