The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil works. For package values more than 5 crore, the bidder should have at least 1 single civil work order of value not less than 60% of the package value or 2 works equaling 70% of package value. For package values up to 5 crore, the bidder should have at least 1 single civil work order of value not less than 50% of the package value. The work order allotted within the last 5 financial years from the year of publication of the bid will be considered. Additionally, the bidder should submit a completion report of the work from the Executive Engineer concerned for the criteria mentioned above. Relaxation in experience certificate and annual turnover may be granted for newly registered class 1 C, Class II, and Class III contractors for 3 years from the date of their first registration.
