The bidder is required to have experience in similar works, with details to be provided. The experience can be as a Prime Contractor, Partner in a Joint Venture, or Subcontractor. The bidder should have a certain number of years of experience, including experience in their own country and other countries. For works above Rs. 5.00 Crores, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last seven years, as a prime contractor, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed two similar works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also have achieved an average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years ending 31st March of the previous financial year, which should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. The required values and percentages of similar works completed are: - 80% of the estimated cost for one similar work - 50% of the estimated cost for two similar works - 40% of the estimated cost for three similar works - 30% of the estimated cost for average annual financial turnover - Rs. 5.00 Crores as the threshold value for works above which these requirements apply.
