Va Medical Center (vamc) Located In Providence, Ri. project Description: The Providence Va Medical Center (vamc) Is Seeking Sources For A Design Project That Includes Site Visits, Field Investigation, Studies, And User Interviews To Prepare Drawings, Specifications, And Cost Estimates For All Facets Of Work And Disciplines/trades To Facilitate A Construction Project To Expand And Renovate The Existing Laboratory Space To Accommodate New Planned Equipment Which Will Require Larger Working Space Along With Electrical And Hvac Upgrades To Meet Updated Requirements, Along With An Elevator. This Project Will Provide Increased Space For Laboratory Equipment To Allow For Proper Function And Administrative And Mechanical Support Space. This Project Includes An Addition To The Existing Building One D-wing Of Approximately 8260 Square Feet Along With Approximately 2200 Square Feet Of Renovated Space And Includes Vertical Construction. The A/e Will Develop A Minimum Of 3 Conceptual Designs For Consideration By The Medical Center. procurement Information: The Proposed Project Will Be A Competitive, Firm-fixed-price Design Contract.
