The Physician(s) Will Evaluate And Treat Patients In The General Surgery Department To Include Outpatient Consultation, E-consults, Virtual Care, Telephone, And Cvt. The Physician(s) Will Perform Operating Room Procedures. Emergency Responses May Be Required Intermittently Within The Facility In Which The General Surgeon Is Responsible To Respond Timely. Hours Of Coverage Shall Be From 7:30am Through 4:00pm Monday Through Friday; No Weekends And No Federal Holidays. Hours Of Coverage May Vary Dependent Upon The Needs Of The Organization. The Contractor Hours May Be Reduced Should The Facility Appoint Their Own Medical Staff. The Contractor Is Responsible For Provided Appropriate Medical Staff Coverage For All Vacant Shifts Not Filled By Va Medical Staff. All Contractor S Physician(s) Shall Be Board Certified By The Abs Http://www.absurgery.org/, And Be Currently Certified In Bls, Acls Or Equivalency.
