This Ifb Will Utilize The Electronic Bid Delivery And Telephonic Bid Opening Process. The Process Will Be Outlined In The Solicitation. per Vaar 836.204, The Construction Magnitude For This Requirement Is Between $2,000,000 And $5,000,000. the Naics Is 237990 Other Heavy And Civil Engineering Construction And The Business Size Standard Is $36.5 Million. the Basic Scope Of Work Is As Follows: clin 0001, General Construction: Replace Irrigation Components installation Of All Work Shown On The Volume I Plans And Described In The Volume I Specifications Including But Not Limited To All Work Necessary To Remove And Replace Irrigation Components Downstream Of The Existing Well And Pump Including Mainline, Remote Control Valves And Wiring, Lateral Lines, And Sprinkler Heads. The Only Exceptions Are The Irrigated Turf Areas Within Sections Ab, N, M, 58 And 59 Which Are Currently Undergoing Renovations To Develop Pre-placed Lawn Crypts And In-ground Cremains Burial Sites. These Areas Include New Remote-control Zone Valves, Laterals, And Heads. The Intent Is To Integrate These New Lateral Zones Into The New System By Tying The Valves Into The New Main Line And 2-wire Control System. Work Includes The Installation Of A New Variable Frequency Device For More Efficient Operation Of The Irrigation Pump.
