Vancouver Coastal Health (vch) Intends To Extend The Contract With Pacific West For Their Services As The Prime Consultant/architect For The Richmond Hospital Redevelopment – Ubc Trailer Relocation. The Maximum Value Of This Contract Extension Will Be $66,190 - Plus Tax. Vch Has Chosen Not To Complete A Request For Proposal (rfp) Process But Negotiate The Contemplated Contract For The Following Reasons: • Pacific West Architecture Has Been Providing Consultancy/architectural Services For The Site And Project Since October 2022. • Project Is In Construction And 50% Complete. • Pacific West Architecture Has Established Working Relationships With The Richmond Hospital Project Team And Broad Stakeholders. • Pacific West Architecture Has Knowledge Of Richmond Hospital Site And Existing Infrastructure. • Pacific West Architecture Is Registered And Complies With All Applicable Worksafe Bc Regulations. • Pacific West Architecture Has Commercial General Liability Insurance Coverage In An Amount Not Less Than $2,000,000.00 Inclusive Per Occurrence Against Bodily Injury, Personal Injury And Property Damage. • Pacific West Architecture Has Automobile Liability Insurance Coverage On All Non-owned Vehicles In An Amount Not Less Than $ 2,000,000.00. • Pacific West Architecture Has Professional Errors And Omissions Liability Insurance Coverage In An Amount Not Less Than $1,000,000.00 Inclusive Per Occurrence.
