Description Unit Item Description General Pest And Termite Control Comprehensive Termite And Pest Control Services For Outsourced Of Pest Control Service Cy 2023-2024 Scope Of Work And Method Application: Method Of Application: One Massive Treatment And Monthly Monitoring And Re-treatment Of Termite Occurrence I. Termite Control Services A. Wood Drenching Whereby Wooden Portions Of The Structures (cabinet, Ceiling, Joists, Trusses, Jambs, And Others) Are Drenched With Anti-termite Formulation In Strategic Areas Using A Power Sprayer Or Injector. This Is Both Preventive And Curative Measures Guaranteed To Control Termite And Lengthen The Effective Life Strength Of Materials. Drilling Holes In All Door Jams, Baseboards, Etc. (wood), That Are Infested And/or Critical Areas For Termite Infestation. B. Trophallaxis Method Chemical Dusting Of Termite Tunnels, Crevices And Others Where There Are Signs Of Infestation Of Termite Shall Be Directly Treated. Application Of Power Termiticide To All Termites Passageways, Electrical Conduits, Cracks, Crevices And Other Areas Where There Are Possible Signs Of Termite Infestation. Ii. Regular Household Pest Control A. Cold Fogging Treatment Shall Be Performed By The Application Of Insecticides Inside Rooms, Offices, Corridors, And Other Areas By The Use Of An Electro-mist Aerosol Machine Which Transform Spray Into Microns (ultra-fine Chemical Droplets, For An Effective Control Of Mosquitoes And Flies And Other Flying Insect Pests. B. Residual Spraying Shall Be Treatment Of Residual Pesticides To Critical Areas And Breeding Harboges Of Cockcroaches, Bedbugs, Carpet Beetles, Ants And Other Crawling Insect Pest Inside And Outside Building. Cockcroaches Bait Shall Be Done Through Application Of Gel Type Of Insecticides On Areas Where Spraying Is Not Possible Or Where There Are Heavy Cockroaches Problems. C. Rodent And Mice Control Treatment By Bait-laying Of Anti-coagulant Preparation Will Be Carried Out In The Premises Especially On Areas Used As Passageways Of Rats And Mice. Shall Be Performed By The Application Of Rat Track Powder And Rat Baits (anti-coagulant Rodenticides) To All Breeding Avenues Of Rats And Mice. When This Baiting Method Shows Sign Of Resistance Of Ineffectiveness, Gluing, A Non-poisoning Adhesive Shall Be Applied By Attracting Rats And Mice To Be Trapped. D. Crawling Insect / Cockroach Control Treatment By Spraying Or Long Residual Gel Formulation Applied As Bait Spots Will Be Carried Out In The Premises Especially In The Harborages And Breeding Places Of Cockcroaches Such As Cracks, Crevises, Door Hinges, Drainages, Under The Sink, And Other Possible Hiding Places. Drawers And Cabinets Shall Also Be Sprayed With Residual Chemicals. E. Stray Cats Catching Of Strays Cats At Hospital Premises. Catched Stray Cats Will Be Endorsed To Efms - Gss To Be Forwarded To Barangay Karuhatan And To Be Given To Veterinary Services Office - Animal Control Of Valenzuela City For Proper Care. Iii. Service Guarantee 1. Supplier Will Conduct A Monitoring Inspection Of The Hospital To Determine Affected Areas And Extent Of Termite Infestation And Intensive Treatment Every Month Including The Perimeter And Grounds To Determine Infestation Or Locations Of Pest Breeding Sites. 2. Supplier Assures The Treatment Of All Structures Affected Or Susceptible To Terminites By Spraying / Drenching With Anti-termite Chemical To Control And Prevent Infestation. 3. Supplier Assures The Treatment Of All Areas Affected By Spraying Process Using Appropriate Chemicals. 4. Supplier Guarantees The Spot Treatment Along The Outside Walls Of The Buildings And Other Entry Points Of Termites By Drilling Holes, Where Termiticides Solution Shall Be Applied. 5. Supplier Will Perform The Demolition And Treatment Of Existing Termite Mounds, If Any, Within The Warehouse Premises. 6. Supplier Assures The Treatment Should Be Every Month. Chemical To Be Used Should Be Different For Every Treatment To Avoid Chemical Resistance Of The Insect. 7. Supplier Assures That Certified Pest Applicator Duly Licensed By Fertilizer And Pesticide Authority And Accredited Member Of Philippine Federation Of Pest Management Operators' Associations (pfpmoa) Will Personally Supervise The Service Treatment.
