The required prior work experience for the bidder is 05 years for similar work. Additionally, for Technical Personnel with a Degree in Civil Engineering, the minimum experience required is 2 years for contracts up to Rs. 2 Crore and above Rs. 2 Crore. The same experience requirement of 2 years applies to Technical Personnel with a Diploma in Civil Engineering for contracts up to Rs. 2 Crore and above Rs. 2 Crore. The value and percentage of similar works completed include the requirement that the bidder must have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. Also, the bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which bid has been invited, with a turnover rate of 8 percent for a year. The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities, net of other contractual commitments, for the successful bidder shall be 10% of the contract value.
