The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in similar work, with a total value of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one project of similar nature, i.e., Fabrication, Transportation, Erection & Launching of Composite Steel Girder. The updated completion cost of one such project should not be less than 80% of the Estimated Project Cost. Alternatively, two such projects should not be less than 40% of the Estimated Project Cost, or three such projects should not be less than 30% of the Estimated Project Cost in the last 5 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date. The bidder should also have an average annual turnover of 40% of the value of the contract/contracts applied for, over the last five years, in all classes of civil engineering construction work only. Substantially completed works mean those works that are at least 90% completed as of the date of submission. The bidder must have suitably qualified personnel to fill the positions, with a prime candidate and an alternate for each position, both of whom should meet the experience requirements.
