The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the completion of similar works with specific cost values. For Pile work, the bidder should have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of the current job, - Or two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the cost of the current job, - Or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the cost of the current job. Similar requirements are specified for other specialized works, including Aluminum work, with the following conditions: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of the current job, - Two similar works (no specific percentage or amount mentioned). The bidder should have satisfactorily executed these works during the last seven years. The bidder should furnish the following information regarding prior work experience: - List of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last seven years in Form “C”. - List of the projects under execution or awarded in Form “D”. - Particulars of completed works and performance of the bidder duly authenticated/certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/Project Manager or equivalent should be furnished separately for each work completed or in progress in Form “E”. The bidder should have experience in similar class of works completed, and the experience in works highlighting experience in similar works should be furnished, including a list of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last seven years. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a specified rate. The bidder should also have had average annual financial turn over (gross) of minimum 30% of tendered cost in Civil/Electrical construction work during the last available three-year consecutive balance sheets duly audited by Chartered Accountant. Additionally, the bidder should have a bidding capacity equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender, calculated using the formula: Bidding Capacity = {[AxNx2.5]-B}, where A is the maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last seven years, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work, and B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of work. The bidder should not have incurred any loss in more than two years during available last five consecutive balance sheets, duly certified and audited by the Chartered Accountant. The bidder should have a solvency of 40% of tendered cost certified by his Bankers (Nationalized Bank only).
