For a specific tender with an estimated cost of Rs. 820.15 + GST, the bid capacity required can be calculated as: - Average annual financial turnover: 30% of Rs. 820.15 + GST - Solvency: 40% of Rs. 820.15 + GST Formulas: - Average annual financial turnover = 0.3 * (Estimated Cost) - Solvency = 0.4 * (Estimated Cost) However, another formula is also provided: Bidding Capacity = {[A x N x 2.5] - B} Where, A = Maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last seven years taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. B = Value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of work for which bids have been invited.
