The bidder is required to have prior work experience in the field of Civil Engineering construction, specifically in "Construction of Building Works". The experience requirements are as follows: * The bidder must have satisfactorily completed similar works in the last 7 years. * The bidder must have completed: + Three similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, + Or two similar works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, + Or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. * For specialized works such as Pile work, Aluminum work, Steel Structure Work, Metallic Roofing work, and Water proofing work, the bidder must have completed similar works with the same values and percentages as mentioned above. * The bidder should have experience in works of similar nature, with a minimum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last seven years. * The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender. * More than fifteen storey buildings, minimum one building of ten storeys, or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to ten storeys, are also considered as part of the required experience. * In case the work involves construction of two or more basements, then the bidder should have executed one similar work with a minimum of one basement under one agreement. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - 40% of the estimated cost for three similar works - 50% of the estimated cost for two similar works - 80% of the estimated cost for one similar work Additionally, the bidder's average annual financial turnover during the last 5 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. The bidder's solvency should be 40% of the estimated cost from a bank or 10% solvency of the estimated cost from the District Magistrate.
