The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the estimated cost of work put to bid. - Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work put to bid. - One similar completed work costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost of work put to bid. At least one completed work of similar nature should have been executed with a Central/ State Government Organisation, with a value of not less than 30% of the estimated cost put to tender. The value of executed works/turnover shall be brought to the current cost level by enhancing the actual value at the rate of 7% per annum at a simple rate. The bidder should have successfully completed similar works during the last ten years, satisfying one of the above conditions. Additionally, the average annual financial turnover during the immediate last 3 consecutive financial years should be at least 30% of the project cost put to tender. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = 2 x A x N – B, where A is the maximum turnover during the last five financial years, N is the stipulated period of execution of the work, and B is the value of existing commitments to be completed during the execution period of the bid. The bidder should have a solvency of minimum 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The amounts and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the estimated cost of work put to bid (for three similar works) - 40% of the estimated cost of work put to bid (for two similar works) - 60% of the estimated cost of work put to bid (for one similar work) - 30% of the estimated cost put to tender (for at least one completed work with a Central/ State Government Organisation) - 7% per annum (for enhancing the actual value of executed works/turnover) - 30% of the project cost put to tender (for average annual financial turnover during the last 3 consecutive financial years) - 40% of the estimated cost put to tender (for solvency) - Rs. 10,000/- per day (for late submission of an updated programme) - Rs. 40.00 Lacs (for tendered cost) - Rs. 100/- (for stamp paper) - Rs. 2/- (for revenue stamp)
