All Quotations Are Subject To Terms, Conditions, And Instructions Of The Rfq. Late Quotations Will Not Be Accepted. 1. Interested Suppliers May Submit Their Formal Proposals/quotations In A Sealed Envelope And Drop The Same At The Designated Bid Box Found At The Uep-bac Secretariat Office On Or Before January 23, 2025 @ 01:30 Pm. A Non-refundable Fee Of 500.00 Must Be Paid To The Uep Cashier Or Thru Dbp Account No.: 000-357-725-9 With Account Name: Uep University Income And Receipt Thereof Shall Be Attached To The Same. For A Proper Presentment Of Proof Of Payment To Transpire, The Bidder Should Have Promptly Informed The Bac Secretariat/cashier’s Office Within Five (5) Working Days Before The Last Day Of Submission Of Bids That The Bidding Fee Has Been Deposited To The Account Of The University Income For The Latter To Validate The Fund Transfer. Delivery Of Goods Is Required Within 30 Calendar Days Upon Receipt Of The Award/contract/purchase Order. 7. All Prices Offered Shall Be Quoted In Philippine Peso And Shall Remain Valid For A Period Of Thirty (30) Days From The Date Of The Opening Of Quotations. 8. All Duties, Taxes, And Other Levies Payable By The Supplier Prior To Their Submission Of Quotations, Including Delivery Freight If Awarded, Are Presumed To Be Included In The Rates, Prices And Total Bid Price Submitted By The Supplier. 9. Warranty: In Order To Assure That Manufacturing Defects Shall Be Corrected By The Supplier, A Warranty Shall Be Required From The Contract-awardee For A Minimum Period Of Six (6) Months In The Case Of Expendable Supplies, Or A Minimum Of One (1) Year In The Case Of Non-expendable Supplies. The Obligation For The Warranty Shall Be Covered By, At The Supplier’s Option, Either Retention Money Or In An Amount Equivalent To At Least Ten Percent (10%) Of The Final Payment, Or A Special Bank Guarantee Equivalent To At Least Ten Percent (10%) Of The Contract Price. The Said Amounts Shall Only Be Released After The Lapse Of Warranty Period Indicated Above, Or In The Case Of Expendable Supplies, After Consumption Thereof; Provided, However, That The Supplies Delivered Are Free From Patent And Latent Defects And All The Conditions Imposed Under This Contract Have Been Fully Met. 10. The Uep Reserves The Right To Reject Any Or All Quotations Without Thereby Incurring Any Liability To The Affected Suppliers, Waive Any Defect Contained Therein, And Offer The Most Advantageous To The Government. 11. In Case Of A Tie, Pursuant To Appendix 11 Of R.a 9184, Particularly Section 3.2 Of Gppb Circular No. 06-2005 (tie Breaking Method), Procuring Entities Are Hereby Required To Identify At The Onset Of The Bidding Process, And Thereafter Include In The Bidding Documents As Instruction Or A Matter Of Information To Prospective Bidders, A Ready And Clear Measure To Be Used In The Event Two Or More Of The Bidders Have Been Post-qualified As Lcrb Or Hrrb.
