Description Terms Of Reference Procurement Of Supply And Delivery Of Carpentry Materials For The Fabrication Of Tables I. Background Per Ordinance No. 8635 Dated April 27, 2020 Of The City Council Of Manila, The Universidad De Manila (udm) Was Granted Its Fiscal Autonomy And Shall Be Treated As An Independent And Institutional Department Of The City Of Manila Wherein The Management Of Fiscal, Human Resources, And All Other Assets Shall Be Within Its Control. In Accordance With The Ched Standards For Seating Capacity, We Have Rearranged The Shelves And Tables To Accommodate The Required Increase. This Reorganization Was Necessary To Optimize The Space And Allow For The Addition Of More Tables To Meet The Prescribed Seating Requirements. Ii. General Conditions 1. All Quotations Must Be Typewritten In The Company’s Letterhead. 2. Philgeps Registration Number, Mayor’s Or Business Permit, Bir Registration Form (2303), Dti/ Cda/ Sec Registration, And Notarized Omnibus Sworn Statement Shall Be Attached Upon Submission Of The Quotation. 3. All Quotations Shall Be Considered Fixed Prices And Not Subject To Price Escalation During The Contract Implementation. Iii. Institutional Requirements The Supplier Shall: 1. Coordinate With The Concerned Personnel Of The Supply Office For The Conduct Of Any Activity Related To The Fulfillment Of Their Obligations To The Udm; 2. Be Willing To Sign And Abide By An Undertaking Of Confidentiality With The Udm; 3. Warrant That It Shall Conform Strictly To The Terms And Conditions Of This Terms Of Reference. V. Schedule Of Delivery The Supply And Delivery Of Carpentry Materials Shall Be Within 15 Days From Receipts Of The Notice To Proceed. Vii. Liquidated Damages In Case Of Delay In The Delivery Of Expected Service, The Amount Of The Liquidated Damages Shall Be At Least Equal To One-tenth (1/10) Of One Percent (1%) Of The Cost Of The Unperformed Portion For Every Day Of Delay. Once The Cumulative Number Of Liquidated Damages Reaches 10% Of The Amount Of Contract, The Udm Shall Rescind The Contract, Without Prejudice To Other Courses Of Action And Remedies Open To It. Vi. Warranty 1. The Supplier Shall Replace The Items Which Were Found Defective/ Substandard To Ensure That All Items Are Free From Production Defects. 2. A Warranty Security, In The Item Of Retention Money, Shall Be Withheld Equivalent To 1% Of The Total Contract Price To Cover Warranty. The Said Amount Shall Only Be Released After The Lapse Of The Warranty Period. Ix. Remuneration And Terms Of Payment The Prospective Supplier Shall Be Paid In Full, Upon Issuance Of Certificate Of Acceptance And Completion Of Corresponding Deliverables, Subject To Deduction Of Withholding Taxes, As Applicable. X. Approved Budget For The Contract The Approved Budget For The Contract Shall Be P107,606.34 Inclusive Of All Government Taxes And Fees.
