1.0 Unami Seeks To Engage Services From A Qualified Vendor With Capacity For The Provision Of Electrical Services For The Maintenance, Repair, Modification, Of Existing Electrical Systems, Road Blockers And Bollards At The Unami Facilitis, Located In The Erbil Regional Office (ero), Erbil, Iraq. Under The Proposed Contract, The Contractor Is Required To Provide The Following Services In Unami-ero Premises In Iraq : I) Electrical Maintenance, Repair And Modification Service To The Electrical Systems And Switch Boards In Unami Facilities (regular Services). Ii) Electrical Maintenance, Repair And Modification Of Road Blockers And Bollards (periodic Services) The Contractor Shall Provide All Supervisory, Management And Cleaning Personnel With Requisite Experience, Education, Ability And Resources To Plan And Organize Such Operations For Unami Facilities As Defined In The Statement Of Work (sow) That Will Be Part Of The Solication Documents Of A Competetive Bidding Exercise. 2.0 The Effective Date Of The Envisaged Contract Implementation Shall Be 01 February 2021, With Full Capacity Mobilization Required In Place And Ready To Perform The Contract Duties As Per Sow Instructions And The Contract Agreement. The Contract Duration Shall Be Valid For One (1) Year, With An Option To Extend For An Additional Four Years (1+1+1+1) Subject To Satisfactory Performance, Availability Of Funds And At Unami’s Discretion. 3.0 The Service Should Be Executed By Qualified And Experienced Company, Based On Scope Of Work (sow), Specifications, Plans, Un General Conditions Of Contracts And Other Related Documents Which Will Be Provided Later On By Unami To Qualified Companies Who Express Their Interest And Respond To This Eoi. 4.0 The Functions That Are Required To Be Performed By The Contractor At Unami Erbil Iraq Shall Include Provision Of All Personnel, Equipment, Tools, And Consumables Necessary To Perform The Services. 5.0 The Solicitation Will Be Based On A Detailed Statement Of Works (sow), Un General Conditions Of Contracts, Supplier Code Of Conduct, Global Compact Provisions Which Will Be Provided By Unami To All Companies Who Respond To This Eoi And Qualify For This Tender. 6.0 For This Purpose, Unami Will Undertake A Competitive Bidding Exercise Shortly, Accordingly Would Issue A Request For Proposal With Detailed Specifications To Those Companies Who Would Express Their Interest And Provide Initial Relevant Information As To Their Ability To Fulfill Unami's Requirement. 7.0 Please Note On The Following: • This Eoi Is Not An Invitation To Submit A Bid/proposal. • Unami Reserves The Right In Selecting The Invitees For The Competitive Bidding Based On Substantial And Proven Records Of Performance In The Subject Field Of Activities And Mere Expressing An Interest Would Not Automatically Warrant For Rfp Document. • Unami Reserves The Right To Reject Eois Received After The Above Deadline.
