1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force In Cyprus (unficyp) Intends To Conduct A Competitive Solicitation Exercise For The Inspection And Maintenance Services With Respect To Firefighting Equipment Fitted To Two Firefighting Trucks And Fourteen Mobile Firefighting Units. 2. The Contractor Shall Conduct Scheduled And Unscheduled Services (emergency Repair Services With A Five-hour Response Time), Including The Provision Of All Necessary Spare Parts (including But Not Limited To Fuses, O-rings, Brackets, Hoses, Dry Powder A,b,c And Fffp-ar Foam Liquid). 3. The Resulting Contract Shall Be For An Initial Period Of Three (3) Years With An Option To Extend For Two Periods Of One (1) Year Each, Which Is Estimated To Commence In April 2021. Unficyp Is Under No Obligation To Order Any Minimum Quantities. 4. Interested Vendors Shall Have The Opportunity To Attend A Site Visit As Part Of The Solicitation Exercise. In This Regard Unficyp Would Like To Identify Vendors Who Would Be Interested To Participate In The Competitive Solicitation Exercise. Qualified Vendors Are Requested To Express Their Interest By Using The Attached Vendor Response Form. Unficyp Reserves The Right In Selecting The Invitees For The Competitive Bidding And Merely Expressing An Interest Would Not Automatically Warrant Participation In The Competitive Bidding Exercise.
