The United Nations Office At Nairobi (hereinafter Referred To As Unon), On Behalf Of United Nations Human Settlements Programme (un-habitat) Iraq Programme, Seeks The Interest Of Qualified Contractors To Participate In An Upcoming Tender Solicitation For The Construction Of A Central Water Feature In Al - Yarmouk Park, Mosul, Ninewa Governorate - Iraq. The Construction Of The Central Water Feature Constitutes An Important Component Of The Overall Rehabilitation Project Of Al-yarmouk Park That Will Provide A Lively And Dynamic Experience And Creates A Recreational Hub In The Park For The Users To Enjoy The Cool Air While Enjoying The Sound Of Water.the Water Feature Will Also Provide An Interactive Experience For The Users Through The Creation Of A Curved Bridge Through The Fountain. The Water Feature Will Combine Several Types Moving Jets Of Water And Coloured Lights Controlled Remotely. The Feature Is Part Of The Integrated Project That Un-habitat Is Implementing In This Area Since 2019, Aimed At Restoring Essential Public Services Disrupted By War And Conflict And Supporting The Sustainable Return Of Idps. The Scope Of Work Consists Of Construction Of Central Water Feature Including; A) Civil Works - Site Preparation, Concrete Works, Painting Etc B) Hydraulic Works C) Electrical Works - Lighting,cabling Etc Additional Details, Specifications, And Terms Of Reference Shall Be Provided In The Tender Document To Be Issued Subsequent To This Eoi. Unon Invites Companies To Express Their Interest By Filling Out The Vendor Response Form And Sending It Either Electronically Or Via Email Important: Please Note That This Reoi Is Not An Invitation For Submission Of Tenders. Its Purpose Is To Identify Eligible Vendors That Would Be Interested To Participate In The Related Upcoming Requirement. The Complete Detail Of The Requirement Will Be Issued To Bidders After This Request For Eoi Is Closed. Unon Reserves The Right To Change Or Cancel The Requirement Of This Eoi At Any Time During The Eoi And/or Solicitation Process. Submitting A Reply To This Reoi Does Not Therefore Automatically Guarantee That Your Company Will Be Considered For Issuance Of The Solicitation Documents. Only Vendors Who, In The Un's Sole Discretion, Are Deemed Eligible And Qualified, Upon Completion Of An Objective Evaluation Of The Eoi Submissions, May Receive The Final Tender Solicitation Documents.
