1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force In Cyprus (unficyp) Intends To Conduct A Competitive Solicitation Exercise For The Maintenance And Repair Services Of Unficyp Fire Extinguishers. 2. Unficyp Fire Extinguishers Consist Of Water, Foam, Dry Powder And Co2 And Are Of Different Capacities, Both Portable And Mobile. The Services Required, Consist Of Annual Inspections, Hydraulic Tests, Recharge And Discharge Of Extinguishing Agent, Supply And Delivery Of Fire Fighting Foam And Spare Parts On An "as And When" Required Basis. 3. The Resulting Contract Shall Be For An Initial Duration Of Three (3) Years With An Option To Extend At Unficyp Sole Option For A Maximum Of Two Additional Periods Of Up To One (1) Year Each (3+1+1 Years). The Anticipated Contract Commencement Date Is 17 May 2021. 4. In This Regard Unficyp Would Like To Identify Vendors Who Would Be Interested To Participate In The Competitive Solicitation Exercise.
