Supply And Delivery Of Bottled Drinking Water And Leasing Of Water Dispensers To United Nations Office At Nairobi (unon) & In 2024, The United Nations (un) Common Services In Kenya Transitioned To The Common Back Office (cbo) To Align Its Service Provision For Enhanced Efficiency. As Part Of This Transitioin, Unon Was Selected As The Service Provider For The Provision Of Procurement Services For Common Goods And Services To Several Un Agencies In Kenya. Accordingly, The United Nations Office At Nairobi (unon) Invites Suitably Qualified Firms To Submit Expressions Of Interest (eoi) To Participate In The Upcoming Competitive Bidding Exercise For Supply And Delivery Of Approximately 36,000 Bottles Of 18.9 Litres Of Bottled Drinking Water And Leasing Of Approximately 400 Water Dispensers To United Nations Office At Nairobi And Other Agencies In The Un Complex. Interested Vendors Shall Have Sufficient Capacity For Frequent Bulk Delivery Of High-quality Bottled Drinking Water. The Expertise Of The Service Provider Shall Encompass, But Not Be Limited To, The Following Key Areas 1. Capacity To Maintain A Minimum Of 200 Bottles In The Un Complex Located In Gigiri Nairobi At Any Given Time In Line With The Un Business Continuity Plan (bcp). 2. Capacity To Provide A Minimum Of Two Hundred And Fifty (250) Hot And Cold-water Dispensers. 3. Provide Atleast Three Experienced Delivery Water Agents Who Will Be Stationed In-house To Serve All The Un Entities Being Serviced By Unon. 4. Be In Possession Of Relevant Health And Safety Compliance Certificates/licenses. The Contract Is Anticipated To Be Awarded For An Initial Three Years With Options To Extend For Two One-year Periods For A Possible Total Of Five Years (3+1+1). Subsequent To The Closing Date Of This Eoi, Unon Anticipates To Issue A Formal Solicitation Document To Potential Companies Who Have Expressed Interest To Provide The Goods And Services In Accordance With The Requirements That Will Be Fully Specified In The Solicitation Document.
