Institutional Consultancy To Lead The Development Of A Zambian Assessment And Integrated Strategy On Youth & Unicef Has Now Issued A: Request For Proposals In Order To Select A Supplier For The Provision Of Institutional Consultancy To Lead The Development Of A Zambian Assessment And Integrated Strategy On Youth. Brief Background To Achieve National Development Goals, Many African Countries Are Now Strengthening Their Agendas, Innovations, And Investments In The Future Of Youth, With A Focus On Employment. These Agendas Will Need To Be Complemented By An Equally Strong And Continued Emphasis On Investing In Children To Establish The Strongest Foundation And Accelerate The Region’s Healthy And Prosperous Future Objectives / Target Building On The Information Provided In Existing Reports Such As Youth Report (2022) And The Digital Landscape Assessment (2023), The Contractor Will Provide An Initial Diagnostic About Local Needs And Gaps In The Ecosystem For Young People, And The Identification Of The Overall Direction And Emerging Focus Areas For The Country’s Y4c Roadmap. For Purposes Of This Assignment, Ecosystem For Young People Refers To The Various Services, Programmes And Initiatives Targeting Adolescents And Youth Available In The Country. These Elements Would Include Education Institutions, Including Those In Vocational And Skills Training, Health Services, Economic Empowerment Institutions, Private Sector Entities Offering Employment Opportunities, Peer Networks, Enabling Policies To Mention But A Few. The Contractor Is Expected To Lead The Team In A Four-month Process Which Will Involve Three Phases Of Work That Will Lead To The Following Three Main Deliverables: - Inception Report - Landscape Assessment - Country Agenda. Purpose: The Purpose Of The Consultancy Is To: 1) Conduct A Landscape Analysis Of The Zambian Ecosystem For Young People, Including An Analysis Of Existing Partnerships And Initiatives, Key Progress And Gaps, And Opportunities For Unicef To Strengthen And Scale Actions. 2) Identify A National Investment Portfolio For Young People, Including Potential Ppps To Advance Scalable Solutions Important Note: This Tender Will Be Run Through The Unicef E-submissions System.
