Across The Asia & Pacific Region, Unhcr Operations Frequently Need Resources To Communicate On Issues Relating To The Prevention, Risk Mitigation And Response To Gender Based Violence (gbv) As Well As On Child Protection Issues. Recent Experiences Such As The ‘my Hero’ Storybook, Which Was Translated Into More Than 50 Languages And Used Around The World, Shows The Value Of High-quality Materials Developed At A Central Level And Then Adapted, Translated And Disseminated At Local Level.  While Regional-level Materials Do Not Replace Contextualised Materials, They Can Supplement Them In An Efficient And Cost-effective Manner, Especially Where Operations May Be Dealing With Refugees From The Same Countries Of Origin. Situations Still Commonly Arise Whereby In Emergency Situations Operations Request Template Materials For Easy Adaptation – As Has Recently Happened With Covid 19, For Example. Furthermore, Operations With Fewer Resources May Benefit From The Production Of Standard Template Materials Rather Than Sourcing New Designs Each Time. The Production Of Standard Templates For Materials Can Increase The Variety And Quality Of Iec Materials In Country Operations. For Example, Few Operations Have Child-friendly Materials Or Disability-friendly Materials.  The Objective Of This Project Will Be To Design Easily Adaptable Iec Materials (visual, Audio And Other Media) On Key Child Protection And Gbv Issues. The Service Provider Will Draw On Existing Materials Provided By Unhcr’s Regional Bureau For Asia And The Pacific And Will Have The Opportunity To Consult With Colleagues In Key Country Operations.
