Request For Tender Community Centre Backyard Project - Phase Ii - Washroom Pavilion at 360 Tank Street, Petrolia Tender Submissions Shall Be Received For The Construction Of Phase Ii – Washroom Pavilion (building And Civil Site Works) For The Community Centre Backyard Project Until Tender Closing At 2:00 Pm On Tuesday, March 27th, 2024. this Request For Tender Will Use Petrolia.bidsandtenders.ca As The Bidding System. A Mandatory Pre-tender Site Meeting Will Be Held At 12:30pm On Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 In The South Entrance Parking Lot At The Ymca Community Centre At 360 Tank Street In Petrolia. The Project Generally Consists Of The Two (2) Following Divisions: Division 1: Building Works (architectural, Structural, Plumbing, Hvac, And Electrical). Division 2: Civil Works (site Servicing, Grading, And Paving Works). Division 1: Building Works The Work In This Division Generally Consists Of The Supply Of All Labour, Materials, Equipment, And Appurtenances Necessary For The Following: A. Foundations And Slab On Grade Excavate, Form, And Supply And Place Rebar And Concrete For New Footings And Foundation Walls. Supply, Place And Compact Granular For Building Slab-on-grade Base. Supply And Install Rigid Insulation And Concrete For New Slab On Grade And Thickened Slab Foundations, Complete With Polished Concrete Finish And Expansion Joint At The Perimeter. Supply And Install Concrete Faced Subgrade Insulation. Sawcut Control Joints In Foundation Wall And Concrete Slab On Grade. B. Walls And Masonry Partitions Supply And Construct 200mm [8”] Reinforced Masonry Walls Complete With Lintels And Bond Beam. Supply And Install Top Plates, Complete With Gasket And Anchor Bolts. Supply And Construct Interior Masonry Partitions And Chases. Supply And Install Adhered Vapour Barrier. Supply And Install Exterior Thermally Broken Cladding System, Complete With Girts, Clips And Insulation. Supply And Install Exterior Panelized Stone And Siding, And Trim. C. Roof Supply And Install Prefabricated Wood Roof Trusses, Gable Wall And Canopy, Complete With Osb Sheathing. Supply And Install Vapour Barrier, Roof Underlayment, Standing Seam Metal Roofing, Gable Siding, Flashing, Trim, Roof Vents, Eavestroughs And Downspouts. Supply And Install Soffit. Supply And Install Fireblocking And Plywood Blocking To Hold Insulation. Supply And Install Roof Insulation. D. Ceiling Supply And Install Type X Gypsum Board On Underside Of Trusses. Supply And Install Suspended Ceiling Gypsum Board Ceilings. E. Doors And Windows Supply And Install Exterior Doors, Complete With Frames, Thresholds, Hardware, Accessories, And Automatic Door Openers. Supply And Install False Windows, Complete With Trim. Supply And Install Insulated Rolling Counter Door. F. Hvac Supply And Install Energy Recovery Ventilator Complete With All Supports, Wiring, Piping, Ducting, And Intake And Exhaust Openings Through Exterior Walls. Supply And Install Ductwork, Fire Dampers, Supply Diffusers And Return Grilles. G. Plumbing Supply And Install All Sanitary Drain And Vent Piping. Supply And Install Buried Drain Piping And Connection To Existing Sanitary Service Stub. Supply And Install All Cold And Hot Water Piping, Complete With Control Valves, Drain Ports And Shut-off Valves. Supply And Install Non-freeze Hose Bibs And Shut-off Valves. Supply And Install Buried Water Piping Complete With Backflow Preventer, And Connection To Existing Water Service Stub. Supply And Install Hot Water Heater Complete With Appurtenances, Mounting, Piping, Wiring And Tempering. Install All Lavatories, Water Closets, Urinal, And Sinks. H. Power And Lighting Supply And Install All Wiring, Electrical Panel, Receptacles, Switches, And Sensors. Supply And Install All Recessed Lighting, Surface Mounted Lighting, And Other Light Fixtures. Supply And Install All Emergency Lighting And Exit Signage. Supply And Install All Electronic Barrier Free Washroom Accessories Including Push Buttons, Door Locking And Emergency Alert System. I. Wall And Ceiling Finishes Paint Walls, Ceilings And Door Frames. J. Washroom Accessories Supply And Install Toilet Partitions, Change Tables, Benches, Grab Bars, Hand Dryers, Mirrors, Shelves, Coat Hooks, Soap Dispensers, Paper Towel Dispensers, Toilet Paper Dispensers, Napkin Disposal, Waste Disposal, Sharps Bins And Other Bathroom Accessories. K. Millwork Supply And Install Stainless Steel Prep Tables, Shelving, Cabinets And Barrier-free Counter. L. Other Miscellaneous Works Install Interior Signage And Exterior Signage. Coordinate With Utility Companies And Geotechnical Consultant As Required. Division 2: Civil Works The Work In This Division Generally Consists Of The Supply Of All Labour, Materials, Equipment, And Appurtenances Necessary For The Following: A. Removals Strip And Dispose Of All Grass And Vegetation. Strip And Stockpile All Topsoil From Work Area For Re-use. Excavate, Stockpile And Shape Excess Clay At North End Of Existing Onsite Clay Stockpile (profile To Match Existing Pile). Remove And Store Existing Caps On Existing Water, Sanitary, Storm, And Electrical Conduit Stubs For Pick-up By Town Of Petrolia Public Works Staff. B. Water Servicing Supply And Install A 38mm Diameter High-density Polyethylene Water Service Line (a Minimum Of 1.8m Deep Or Insulated For Frost Protection) From The Existing Stub Location To Mechanical Room Inside The New Washroom Pavilion. Complete All Notification, Shutdown, Testing And Sterilization Processes Required By The Town’s Water Operator And Building Inspector. C. Sanitary Servicing Install 150mm Diameter Polyvinyl Chloride (pvc) Sanitary Service From Existing Stub Location (a Minimum Of 1.22m Deep Or Insulated For Frost Protection) To Mechanical Room Inside The New Washroom Pavilion. Supply And Install Water-tight Gasketed Sewer Fabricated Fittings Where Required. D. Storm Servicing Supply And Install One (1) New Precast Concrete Catchbasin To The West Of The New Washroom Pavilion Following The Completion Of The Building Construction Works (to Avoid Damage To Underground Storm Pipe And Catchbasin Caused By Construction Traffic). Supply And Install 200mm Diameter Pvc Storm Pipe From Existing Storm Stub To New Catchbasin Location To The West Of The New Washroom Building. Supply And Install 150mm Diameter And 200mm Diameter Polyvinyl Chloride (pvc) Storm Pipe For The Washroom Pavilion’s Four (4) Rainwater Leaders. Supply And Install Four (4) 150mm Diameter Pvc Drop Connections From Finished Grade At Washroom Pavilion Corners Down Into The 150mm Or 200mm Diameter Storm Pipe For The Four (4) Rainwater Leaders. Supply And Install Water-tight Gasketed Sewer Fabricated Fittings Where Required. E. Electrical Conduit & Light Pole Bases Supply And Install New Cast-in-place Architectural Concrete Lighting Pole Bases In The Noted Locations Around The New Washroom Pavilion And Along The New Asphalt Pathways As Specified In The Details. Supply And Install 75mm Diameter Underground Duct Complete With Pull Wire From Existing Capped Location To Meter Base Location At The Exterior Of The New Washroom Pavilion. Supply And Install 50mm Diameter Underground Ducts Complete With Pull Wire From Washroom Pavilion Mechanical Room (electrical Panel Location) To The Concrete Lighting Pole Bases Shown On The Drawings. Supply And Install 50mm Diameter Underground Ducts Complete With Pull Wire From Washroom Pavilion Mechanical Room (electrical Panel Location) To The Stub Locations Shown On The Drawings For Future Electrical Runs To Future Lighting Pole Bases. Supply And Install 45-degree, Long Sweep Elbows And Caps Wherever Noted. Supply And Pull Site Lighting And Site Servicing Wire Through Conduits Using Pull Strings. F. Site Pathways Compact Native Subgrade And Supply, Place, Spread And Grade Granular Materials (245mm Thick Granular ‘a’) For 3.0m Wide Asphalt Pathways. Supply, Place And Compact Asphalt Wearing Surface On Site Pathways Up To Noted Limits. Compact Native Subgrade And Supply, Place, Spread And Grade Granular Materials (200mm Thick Granular ‘a’) For Concrete Pads Around The New Washroom Pavilion. Supply, Place And Broom Finish 125mm (5”) Concrete Pads With Welded-wire Mesh Reinforcement Around The Washroom Pavilion. Compact Native Subgrade And Supply, Place, Spread And Grade Granular Materials And Sand (200mm Thick Granular ‘a’ And 25mm Sand) For 3.0m Wide, Circular Interlocking Block Paver Area. Supply And Place Interlocking Block Pavers In 3.0m Wide Circular Area Around The New Washroom Pavilion. Shape (cut/fill), Fine Grade And Compact Subgrade In Grassed Areas Noted On The Design Drawings And All Other Areas Disturbed By The Project Works, Including Disturbed Areas On And Up To Existing Onsite Stockpiles. Move, Place, Spread And Grade 150mm Of Topsoil From The Onsite Topsoil Stockpile Over Grassed Areas And All Other Areas Disturbed By The Project Works, Including Disturbed Areas On And Up To Existing Onsite Stockpiles. Supply And Place Grass Seed Over All Topsoil Areas. G. Other Miscellaneous Works Coordinate With Geotechnical Consultant For Material And Compaction Testing As Required. A Performance And Maintenance Bond For One Hundred Percent (100%) Of The Contract Price And A Labour And Materials Payment Bond For One Hundred Percent (100%) Of The Contract Price Will Be Required From The Successful Bidder.
