The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the value of the contract. For a contract value between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakhs, the bidder should have a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering or not less than one retired Junior Engineer. For a contract value between Rs.5 lakhs to Rs.10 lakhs, the bidder should have a B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years of experience or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer or (Retired Assistant Executive Engineer) plus two diploma holders in Civil Engineering or two retired Junior Engineers. Alternatively, the bidder can have one B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holder with three years of experience or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer and one more B.E. (Civil or equivalent degree holder. For a contract value above Rs.50 lakhs, the bidder should have three B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holders with three years of experience or not less than one retired sub-divisional officer and two more B.E. (Civil) or equivalent degree holders. The value of similar works completed should be at least 50% of the tender value. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor for at least one similar nature of work under a single agreement, with a value of at least 50% of the tender value, in the last five years. The value of the completed STP work should be at least Rs.453.00 Lakhs, which is 50% of the tender value. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs.1359.00 Lakh (which is 150% of the tender value) and liquid assets of not less than 20% of the value of the tender, which is Rs.181.20 Lakh. The percentage of work completed is mentioned as 30% in the 3rd month, and 100% is mentioned for a later period.
