Patient Travel On Roads Is A Facilitated Transport Where The Patient, In Accordance With The Current Legislation, Has The Right To Covering Expenses For Travel To And From Treatment.  the Contracting Authority Is Not Obliged To Procure A Fixed Amount Of Patient Journeys And Is Subject To Variations In The Number Of Assignments. The Contracting Authority Intends To Facilitate Increased Coordination Within The Contract, Including Measures Such As Establishing Fixed Routes And Coordinated Patient Journeys Across Municipal Borders And Tender Areas. If The Contracting Authority Deems It Necessary To Ensure The Patient's Right, Or To Cost Efficiently Service, Other Transport That Will Be Prioritised Before The Chosen Supplier(s) Can Be Put In Place. The Means Of Transport Are Used In Prioritised Order:1. Separate Wagon Material2. Hired Carriage Materials (hourly Hired Vehicles), Return Vehicles And Helse Express3. Other Transport/spot Transportthere Will Therefore Be Call-offs On The Services In Accordance With This Contract When It Is Not Possible To Use Separate Carriage Materials Or Hired Carriage Materials/return Transport.
