The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no prior work experience is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. Additionally, the bidder must demonstrate a minimum level of financial capability, with a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years. The bidder is also required to furnish a list of works completed in the last three financial years and submit an audited balance sheet regarding contractual payments received.
