Southern Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing or substantially completing similar works during the last 7 years. The specific requirements are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 1/3 of the advertised value of the tender - 1/3 of the cost of any component of work - 25% of the cost of any component of work - Rs 500 crore and above in last 3 financial years excluding the current financial year for Public listed companies. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience is required. The required prior work experience for the bidder also includes: - Annual Maintenance and operation contract of bio-toilet executed in Railway coaches at stations/depots/Workshops. - Supply of DRDE type bio-toilets or supply and fitment of bio-toilets to any unit of Indian Railways. - Cleaning/maintenance of bio-toilet work executed in Star Hotels (3 star and above), Corporate Hospitals having more than 50 beds, Corporate Airlines, PSUs and any Central / State Establishments. - Manual/Mechanized cleaning of coaches in Indian Railways.
