The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of tender. The value and percentage of similar works completed are considered based on the overall cost, including the PVC amount. The overall cost, including the PVC amount (if paid) of that completed work or substantially completed work, shall be considered. In case of subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor shall be asked for. Each non-lead member of a Joint Venture (JV) must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed, during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria. The required prior work experience for the bidder is supported by work experience certificates issued by any Government Organisation or a Public listed company having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. The value of a completed work done by a member in an earlier JV is reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV for the purpose of satisfying their compliance to the technical eligibility criteria. A partner's credentials are considered to the extent of their share in the previous entity and their share in the present partnership firm. For example, if a partner had a 30% share in the previous entity and a 20% share in the present partnership firm, their credentials will be considered to the extent of 0.3 * 0.2 * value of the work done in the previous entity. The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the average annual contractual turnover. The tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of 'V/N' or 'V', whichever is less, where 'V' is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and 'N' is the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% value of work to be subletted - 10% of the cost of any component of work - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work - Rs 500 crore average annual turnover for public listed companies - 90% of the present contract value for substantially completed work.
