South Eastern Railway Tender

To participate in the tender as a Joint Venture (JV), the following eligibility requirements must be met: 1. The tenderer shall submit all required documents, including those specified for the type of entity that is part of the JV (e.g., company, LLP, society, trust). 2. For companies, documents such as resolutions of the Directors, MOA/AOA, Certificate of Incorporation, and Authorization/Power of Attorney are required. 3. For LLP firms, documents such as LLP Agreement, Certificate of Incorporation, resolution passed by partners, and Authorization/Power of Attorney are required. 4. For societies or trusts, documents such as Certificate of Registration, Memorandum of Association, Rules & Regulations, and Power of Attorney are required. 5. A power of attorney executed and issued overseas must be legalized by the Indian Embassy and notarized, unless it carries an Apostille certificate from a country that has signed the Hague Legislation Convention 1961. 6. The tenderer shall submit a copy of a certificate stating that all statements/documents submitted along with the bid are true and actual. 7. The JV must submit documents such as a notarized copy of the Partnership Deed, consent of all partners, and Power of Attorney, depending on the nature of the firm. 8. The partnership firm or Joint Venture should have been in existence or formed prior to submission of tender. 9. A tender from JV shall be considered only where permissible as per the tender conditions. 10. If a JV has a retired Engineer of the gazetted rank or any other gazetted officer as one of its members, and such Engineer or officer had not retired from government service at least 1 year prior to the date of submission of the tender, then the JV must provide full information regarding the date of retirement and whether permission for taking such contract has been obtained. 11. If a JV deputes a retired Engineer of gazette rank or retired gazetted officer for execution of the works under this contract, the JV must ensure that the retired Engineer or officer had retired from government service at least 1 year prior to the date of his employment with the JV, or possesses the requisite permission from the President of India or any officer duly authorized by him. 12. If one or more members of the family of the JV partners/shareholders, having a share of more than 1% in the tendering entity, are employed in a gazetted capacity in the Engineering or any other department of the railway, the JV must inform the authority inviting tenders about the details of such persons at the time of submission of the tender.
