The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For substantially completed work, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. No prior work experience is required for tenders having an advertised value up to Rs 50 lakh. The value of the final bill, including the Price Variation (PVC) amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. If the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid), as mentioned in the certificate, shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. The percentage of similar works completed is 90% of the present contract value. In case of more than one L-1 bidders, the tenderer having done more value of similar work in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender, may be selected for the award.
