The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing specific categories of work within the last 07 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For substantially completed work, it means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The value of the final bill (gross amount) including the Price Variation (PVC) amount, if paid, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case of individual partners from previous proprietary firms or dissolved previous partnership firms, their credentials shall be considered only to the extent of their share in the previous entity on the date of dissolution/split and their share in the newly formed partnership firm. The value and percentage of similar works completed are considered based on the overall cost, including the PVC amount (if paid), of that completed work or substantially completed work. Specific amounts and percentages for similar works completed include 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Work experience certificates from government organizations or public listed companies having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years are considered. The work experience certificate should be issued by a person authorized by the Public listed company to issue such certificates, and should be supported by relevant documents such as work order, bill of quantities, and payment details.
