The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing certain similar works within the last 7 years. The specific requirements include: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Substantially Completed Work is defined as an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. Additionally, the bidder's average annual contractual turnover should be at least V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. This average is calculated based on the total contractual payments in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The bidder is required to submit relevant information and documentation, including copies of Audited Balance Sheets certified by a Chartered Accountant, to support their experience and financial eligibility.
