The required prior work experience for the bidder is categorized into four categories, with specific weightage assigned to each category. The bidder should have completed Eligible Project(s) with a sum total value, as adjusted in accordance with a specific clause, and received payments for construction of Eligible Project(s) during the last 5 previous financial years and the current financial year. The sum total of the works should be more than 2.5 times the Estimated Project Cost, with at least one fourth of this from Eligible projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. The bidder should have undertaken at least one Eligible Project of Railway Sector of value not less than 35% of the Estimated Project Cost and have received payments for not less than 75% of the value of the present Contract Value of such project. The value of self-construction during the last 5 previous financial years and the current financial year up to the Base month will be considered for the purpose of experience. Receipts of less than 10% of the Estimated Project Cost shall not be reckoned as receipts/execution of Eligible Projects. For Railway Electrification works, the bidder's prior work experience is measured by the cumulative payments received for construction works executed in the last 5 financial years and the current financial year, with a threshold of 10% of the Estimated Project Cost for a project to be considered eligible. The bidder should have received cumulative payments from its client(s) for construction works executed, fully or partially, during the last 5 previous financial years and the current financial year. The experience for each category would be computed as per weight of following factors to arrive at its aggregated Eligible Experience: - Category 1: 0.75 - Category 2: 1 - Category 3: 1 - Category 4: 0 The entity claiming experience should have held a minimum of 26% equity in the company owning the Eligible Project during the entire year for which Eligible Experience is being claimed, and the capital cost of the project should be more than 10% of the Estimated Project Cost.
