The Scope For The Provision Of Third-party Ground Handling Services In The Field Of Passenger Ground Handling At Luxembourg Airport Under The Licenses To Be Awarded By The Ministry Of Mobility And Public Works Based On The Outcome Of This Tender, Includes The Following: A) Services Pursuant To Section 2 Of The Annex According To The Council Directive 96/67/ec Transposed Into National Law By The Luxembourgish Law Dated 19th May 1999: • Passenger Handling Comprises Any Kind Of Assistance To Arriving, Departing, Transfer Or Transit Passengers, Including Checking Tickets (including Check-in Counters, Prm Excluded) And Travel Documents, Registering Baggage, And Carrying It To The Sorting Area. B) Services Pursuant To Section 3 Of The Annex And According To The Council Directive 96/67/ec Transposed Into National Law By The Luxembourgish Law Dated 19th May 1999: • Baggage Handling Comprising Handling Baggage In The Sorting Area, Sorting It, Preparing It For Departure, Loading It On To And Unloading It From The Devices Designed To Move It From The Aircraft To The Sorting Area And Vice Versa, As Well As Transporting Baggage From The Sorting Area To The Reclaim Area C) Services Pursuant To Section 4 Of The Annex And According To The Council Directive 96/67/ec Transposed Into National Law By The Luxembourgish Law Dated 19th May 1999: • Freight And Mail Handling Only For Passenger Aircraft As Far As The Specific Carriage Of Freight And Mail Between The Airport And The Aircraft On Arrival, Departure Or Transit Is Concerned. D) Services According To Section 5.1 - 5.7 Of The Annex According To The Council Directive 96/67/ec Transposed Into National Law By The Luxembourgish Law Dated 19th May 1999: • Marshalling The Aircraft On The Ground At Arrival And Departure • Assistance To Aircraft Parking And Provision Of Suitable Devices • Communication Between The Aircraft And The Airside Supplier Of Services • The Loading And Unloading Of The Aircraft Including The Provision And Operation Of Suitable Means, As Well As The Transport Of Crew Between The Aircraft And The Terminal • The Provision And Operation Of Appropriate Units For Engine Starting • The Moving Of The Aircraft At Arrival And Departure, As Well As The Provision And Operation Of Suitable Devices • The Transport, Loading On To And Unloading From The Aircraft Of Food And Beverages E) Services According To Section 6.1 – 6.3 Of The Annex According To Council Directive 96/67/ec: • The Toilet And Water Services • The Cooling And Heating Of The Cabin, The Removal Of Snow And Ice, The Deicing Of The Aircraft • The Rearrangement Of The Cabin With Suitable Cabin Equipment And The Storage Of This Equipment.
