There is no explicit information on the required prior work experience for the bidder in terms of years or specific experience. However, the bidder must demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. The bidder must have completed similar works with a value that can be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five financial years. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of a value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. To qualify for the award of the Contract, each bidder should have, in the last five years, achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, as certified by a chartered accountant, and at least 50% of which is from civil engineering construction works. Additionally, for joint ventures, the lead partner must meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners must meet not less than 25% of the qualifying criteria. The available bid capacity of the bidder should be more than the estimated contract value.
