Rural Works Department Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having executed civil engineering construction work in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. For tender amounts more than 2.5 cr, the bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 50% of the tender amount, and the total value of such similar works should be at least 100% of the tender amount in the last 5 years. Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least 2 similar works, with each work having a value of at least 40% of the tender amount. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the estimated value of the work tendered in the last five years for tender amounts more than 2.5 cr. The completion rate should be not less than 90% as a prime contractor or duly authorized sub-contractor by the Employer. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one work of similar nature of value not less than 50% of the estimated value of the work tendered in the last five years preceding the year in which the tender is invited. The values and percentages mentioned include: - 50% of the estimated value of the work tendered for similar works completed - 100% of the tender amount for total value of similar works completed in the last 5 years - 40% of the tender amount for each similar work completed - 90% completion rate as a prime contractor or duly authorized sub-contractor by the Employer - 60% of the estimated value of the work tendered for minimum annual financial turnover - 2.5 cr as the threshold tender amount for certain requirements - 5 cr as the threshold tender amount for certain requirements.
