The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works as a prime contractor in construction works of a similar nature and volume in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder must have completed at least one work of similar nature, with a value of not less than 1/3rd of the estimated value of the work tendered, and a completion percentage of not less than 90%. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - The completion percentage should be not less than 90% as a prime contractor or duly authorized sub-contractor by the Employer. - The value of the similar work completed should be not less than 1/3rd of the estimated value of the work tendered. - The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the estimated value of the work tendered in the last five years, applicable for tender amounts more than 2.5 cr. Additionally, the bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, taking into account both completed and in-progress works. The formula for calculating the available bid capacity is: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A x N x 2.5) - B Where: A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years.
