The bidder should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering construction. They should have at least one similar work of value not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract in the last five years. Additionally, the bidder's total value of civil engineering construction work completed in the last five years is considered. The bidder's work experience as a prime contractor in similar nature works over the last five years is also evaluated. The bidder should have experience in civil engineering works of similar nature and size completed during the last five financial years. They should provide information on the total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed civil construction work (not less than 90% of contract value) as a prime contractor. They should also have a valid electrical license and have executed similar electrical works, and a valid license for water supply/sanitary engineering works, having executed similar works for a minimum amount (the specific amount is indicated in the Appendix). Each tender must be accompanied by a letter stating previous experience of contract work carried out by Tenderer with value thereof and with a testimonial form of the Engineer-in-charge under whom he had worked regarding the manner of his performance. The required prior work experience includes having a minimum annual financial turnover of 416.94 Lac in the last five years. The bidder should also have access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, certified by the Bankers, with a value of at least 10% of the estimated value. The bidder is required to provide an undertaking that they will be able to invest minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation.
