The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering construction work, specifically having executed and received payments for a total annual volume of civil engineering construction work in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder should provide information on the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work for which the bid is invited. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. The bid security amount is 2 percent of the estimated value of the works, rounded off to the nearest thousand.
