The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar nature of works. They should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% of the estimated cost, put to tender during any three financial years taken together of the last preceding five years. The value of work executed by the applicant shall be updated to current price level using escalation factor. The bidder should have experience in executing civil engineering works, with a maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year, updated to the current price level with an escalation factor of 10 percent per year. The value of works already executed and the value of works remaining to be completed are to be mentioned in Rs. in lakhs, but specific percentage of similar works completed is not mentioned. The bidder's experience and resources should be sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts.
