The bidder is required to have prior work experience of similar nature and volume over the last five years from the date of receipt of the bid. The bidder should have executed similar nature of work worth 75% of the estimated cost, put to tender during any three financial years taken together of the last preceding five years. The value of work executed by the applicant shall be updated to current price level using escalation factor. The bidder needs to provide a certificate from the Engineer-in-Charge, not below the rank of Executive Engineer, for the work performed as a prime contractor, with details including project name, name of the employer, description of work, value of the contract, contract number, date of issue of the work order, stipulated date of completion, actual date of completion, and year-wise value of work done. The bidder should also have the total financial turn over in respect of Civil Engineering works of an amount not less than the amount put to tender during any 3 financial years taken together of the last proceeding five financial years. Additionally, the bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the assessed available bid capacity formula: (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works.
