The required prior work experience for the bidder is experience in civil engineering works of similar nature completed during the last three financial years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed civil engineering work of a similar nature, with at least civil work of a value not less than the amount indicated in the Appendix, which is usually not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract in the last three years. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar nature of works, but not less than 50% of the contract value. The bidder should also have a degree holder engineer with at least 3 year’s experience or a diploma holder engineer with at least 5 year’s experience. The experience certificate should be in a prescribed format and issued by a Government/Semi Government department. The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 210.00 Lac and should provide an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 10% of the contract value of work during implementation. They should also have access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, certified by their bankers, which should be at least 10% of the contract value, with a minimum of 35.00 Lac. The required percentage of similar works completed is at least 50% of the contract value. The amount of similar works completed should be not less than the amount indicated in the Appendix, which is usually not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract in the last three years.
