The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid having value and formulas is 1% of the estimated contract value (ECV). The formula for calculating the bid security is: Bid Security = 1% of ECV. Additionally, the bid security can also be mentioned in the bid document, in which case the bidder shall furnish the amount mentioned under NIT/Contract Data. The estimated contract value (ECV) ranges from Rs. 244.50 Lakhs to Rs. 546.06 Lakhs. Therefore, the bid security can be calculated as: Bid Security = 1% of (Rs. 244.50 Lakhs to Rs. 546.06 Lakhs) = Rs. 2.44 Lakhs to Rs. 5.46 Lakhs. However, the bid capacity required is also related to the Assessed Available Bid Capacity which is calculated as: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A * N * 2) - B. Where: A = Maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the current price level) B = Value of current price level of the existing commitments & ongoing works to be completed during the next years N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which the bids are invited. The bid capacity required also includes the specified equipment quantities as mentioned in SCHEDULE-B. For Road works with PMC & Seal Coat, the required equipment and their quantities are: 1. Concrete Joint Cutting Machine - 1 10. Tipper - 2 For road works with WMM, BM & SDBC, the required equipment and their quantities are: 1. Hot Mix Plant (minimum 40-60 TPH) - 1 2. Paver Finisher - 1 3. Tandem Roller - 1 4. Vibrator Roller - 1 5. Power Road Roller - 1 6. Hydraulic Excavator - 1 7. Concrete Mixture - 2 8. Water Tanker - 1 9. Needle Vibrator - 1 10. Plate Vibrator - 1 11. Concrete Joint Cutting Machine - 1 12. Tipper - 2 Additionally, the bid capacity required is related to the Additional Performance Security which is determined based on the bid amount and the estimated cost put to tender. The formulas for calculating the Additional Performance Security are as follows: - If the bid amount is below 5% less than the estimated cost put to tender: No Additional Performance Security - If the bid amount is from 5% and above and below 10% less than the estimated cost put to tender: 50% of (Difference between estimated cost put to tender and bid amount) - If the bid amount is from 10% and above less than the estimated cost put to tender: 150% of (Difference between estimated cost put to tender and bid amount)
