The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid is calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A * N * 2) - B Where: A = Maximum value of works executed in any one year (updated to the current price level) B = Value at current price level of the existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the time period stipulated in the contract data N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which the bids are invited (for work completion period less than one year, the value may be taken as one year) Additionally, to qualify, a bidder must secure at least 80% marks in aggregate for certain equipment, with total marks being 100. Also, the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is to be remitted online at the rate of 1% of the estimated cost put to tender, and the Additional Performance Security is dependent on the difference between the estimated cost put to tender and the bid amount, with the following formulas: - Below 5% difference: No Additional Performance Security is required. - From 5% and above but below 10% difference: 50% of the difference between the estimated cost put to tender and the bid amount. - From 10% and above difference: 150% of the difference between the estimated cost put to tender and the bid amount.
