The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed at least one road work of similar nature with a value not less than the Estimate Amount under a single agreement in any one of the preceding three years. Additionally, the bidder should have completed major road works and other civil works in the past five years. For building works, the bidder should have at least one “Building” work of similar nature with a value not less than 50% of the value put to tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding five years in Government or Quasi Government Organization only. The value of the work should be at least 50% of the value of the work put to tender in a single contract within the last five years. In one instance, the value of work as per Agreement should be more than Rs.198.00 lakhs. Details of similar works completed should be provided, including type and nature of work, location, name and designation of the employer/owner, value of work as per Agreement, and other relevant information. A certificate issued by the Engineer-in-charge of each of the works is to be appended. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover of more than the Total Amount in any one of the preceding five years, and a minimum cumulative financial turnover of not less than the Estimate Amount from civil engineering constructions in the last five years. For contracts valued between Rs.10.00 Lakhs to 25.00 Lakhs and Rs.25.00 lakhs to Rs.50.00 lakhs, specific requirements for technical personnel are mentioned. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned in all cases, but the bidder is required to have relevant experience in Civil Engineering works and technical personnel with specific qualifications and experience.
