The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, with details of work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, with details of the project name, employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The required prior work experience includes experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of at least the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. As a subcontractor, the bidder should have acquired experience in executing all major items of works under the proposed contract. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: 90% or more of the original contract price for substantially completed works. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in completing contracts with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract. The bidder is also required to provide information on the quantity of work performed in each category, including Cement Concrete, Masonry, Earth Works, and Bituminous Work, for the relevant years. The bidder should also provide information on the value of works remaining to be completed and the anticipated date of completion for ongoing works. A minimum cash investment of up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract is required, which shall be non-refundable.
