The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. Additionally, the bidder needs to submit a certificate from the employer incorporating details such as the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, and satisfactory performance of the contractor. The value and percentage of similar works completed that are required include at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract, with substantially completed works being at least 90% completed.
