The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. In case of a joint venture, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. Other joint venture partners shall have experience of not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder's prior work experience is considered based on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor in the past five years. The experience should be in similar works, and the sub-contract should have involved the execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder is required to provide information on the quantities of work performed, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work, for each year from 2019-2020 to 2023-2024. The bidder should also provide the name of the work, the name of the employer, and the contract reference. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the proposed contract, and substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed.
