The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, with a total value of work performed in the last five years. The information to be provided includes details such as project name, employer, description of work, contract value, and dates of issue and completion. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, with a value of at least Rs. 20 Lakhs. They should also have experience in executing all main items of work described in the bid documents. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The value of similar works completed should be at least Rs. 20 Lakhs, and the bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract value. The percentage of work completed should be at least 90% for substantially completed works. The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed, including the year, name of the work, employer, quantity of work performed (in Cum/MT), and remarks. They should also provide a certificate from the employer incorporating the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, and satisfactory performance of the contractor. In terms of financial requirements, the bidder should have access to or have available liquid assets (aggregate of working capital, cash in hand, and uncommitted bank guarantees) and/or credit facilities up to 25 percent of the value of the contract/contracts applied.
